Day  02 – Dambulla & Sigiriya

After early breakfast leave to visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sigiriya – the “Fortress in the Sky” and see the remains of the Palace on the summit, Lion-staircase, Sigiri Graffiti – the verses written on the Mirror Wall, Paintings of the Damsels-Light colored (Vijjulatha) and Dark coloured (Megalatha) in “fresco-en-secco” and the beautifully designed Pleasure Garden (Water garden, boulder garden), the caves with pre-Christian inscriptions, remains of inner & outer fortifications.
Dambulla is a world heritage site in Sri Lanka, located north of Kandy in Matale district. The town of Dambulla is built around a large granite outcrop, concealing an impressive Buddhist cave complex, Raja MahaVihara, dating from the 1st century BC. It is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.

Day  03 – Dambulla , Matale & Kandy

After early breakfast leave to Kandy

Day  03 – Kandy & Nuwara eliya

After breakfast visit The Royal Botanical Gardens, the magnificent river girdled 57 hectare laid out in 1832 are among the finest in the world. Its treasures of tropical flora include fine collections of orchids, aromatic spices, medicinal herbs, palms and rare endangered plant species. These gardens were the naturally camouflaged operations headquarters of SEAC Supreme Allied Commander, Lord Louis Mountbatten during the 2nd World War.
Thereafter proceed on a scenic drive to the hill country.
See the Ramboda water fall and en-route visit a tea factory to watch the process of turning raw green leaf into the familiar black/brown famous Ceylon Tea. At the end enjoy a nice cup of Tea amidst the spectacular scenery of the tea plantations.
Arrive in NuwaraEliya – also known as the “City of Lights” and “Little England”.
NuwaraEliya was the favourite hill station of the British and the old brick Post office, country houses like hill club, with it’s hunting trophies and fish, and it’s strict formal dinner attire; the 18 hole golf course, race course etc., all reminds one of “England”.

Day 05- Nuwara Eliya & Bentota

After breakfast leave for Beruwela via Kithulgala
Kithulgala (Kelani Valley Forest Reserve) was established to protect the watershed of the Kelani River. It is home to many of Sri Lanka’s endemic fauna and flora. Kithulgala is more widely known as the location for the filming of ‘The Bridge on the River Kwai’.
Thereafter continue your journey to Beruwela
Beruwela lies at the finishing end of the “Golden Mile” which is an hour’s drive from Colombo.Famous for its prime beaches Beruwela is today one of Sri Lanka’s most sought after touristdestinations. The town of Beruwela actually, sits on an estuary, where the river and the seameet. This makes the area quite famous for water sports like windsurfing, scuba diving &snorkeling.

Day 06 – Bentota, Balapititya & Kosgoda

After breakfast leave to Balapitiya to enjoy a boat safari in the Madhu River
The Maadu River is a paradise of nature. This river is found on your way to Galle in the southern province. A beautiful river mixed with sea water. The both banks of the river covered with mangroves and Species of various plants. you can see beautiful small islands speeded over the area. While doing this safari you can visit a temple also with a tall Buddha statue in standing posture in an Island named “kothDuwa” A little break at the temple. The peeling of cinnamon also can be seen in one of the Island.
Thereafter visit a turtle hatchery located in Kosgoda which is famous for several species of turtles, specially the endangered hawksbills. Eggs which are left uncovered on beaches all around the coast are brought by fishermen of Kosgoda area, which has led to 0the hatching and release of 100,000 young turtles in only two years since the hatchery opened.

Day 07 – Bentota & Colombo
